Catching up with our CB ambassadors

17.04.2020

Since launching our new Dreamcatcher collection, we took a moment to catch up with two of our lovely CB ambassadors; Chet from Chillies and Clothes and Patricia @justalpatri to discuss style and jewellery but also to talk about how they’re adjusting to their new life at home. We have really enjoyed seeing how they style the jewellery and how effortlessly they have fused the new pearl pieces into their everyday wardrobe, and how much they are loving the new pearl designs…

  1. What do you most like about the new Dreamcatcher designs?

I am a big fan of the dream catcher range.  As a child I loved cowrie shells; my gran had a large collection that I would sit and play with. This range captures everything I love about jewellery, it is elegant, simple, modern and timeless.  An easy to wear and layer range with some beautiful pieces.

  1. Can you tell us how will the designs will adapt to your life now you are based at home?

As someone who is predominantly based from home my wardrobe and jewellery will continue to play a key part of my everyday life. During this difficult time, I have found that making an effort with my clothes, hair, make-up and accessories has helped to keep my frame of mind more positive and has helped to lift my mood.

  1. How you are coping with the isolation and what you are doing to keep positive?

As a homebody I thought that I would find isolation relatively easy. However, 11 days into isolation and there were tears and feelings of sadness. I realised that I needed to get out for fresh air and walks.  So for me personally, having a routine of sorts, fresh air and making an effort with my appearance have really helped to lift my mood. I have also been using technology (Zoom, Houseparty, Face Time) to stay in touch with family and friends which has been amazing.  As a family of four we are also trying to make an effort one day a week to dress up and pretend we are going out for dinner. This week it’s date night on Friday which I’m looking forward to and will be wearing my Dreamcatcher jewellery.

  1.      What do you most like about the new Dreamcatcher designs?

I absolutely love the new Dreamcatcher collection; the way the silver pieces are combined with the pearls make them very special. As always in Claudia Bradby’s jewellery, the pearls are the most distinguishing feature.

  1.        Can you tell us how will the designs will adapt to your life now you are based at home?

They are very elegant, but very comfortable to wear. So, they are perfect for any outfit, even for a sporty and comfy one to wear at home.

  1.       How you are coping with the isolation and what you are doing to keep positive?

I have always felt very comfortable at home. Besides, all the family is at home also, which keeps me busy and entertained. I try to follow a routine and get ready as if I was going to get out. And, of course, I do more exercise, cooking and reading than before!
